  • Detailed Breakdown

I was tasked with converting an off-the-shelf Loomo into a wirelessly controllable and programmable robot tailored to the company's field-testing needs. I wrote an Android application using the Loomo SDK to accomplish this. The app contained various control modes, including full-manual mode and automatic waypoint-following mode. I used a Raspberry Pi to automate the robot's movement and standby states. I also worked with my mentor to design and 3D print a mount for connecting the drivebase to various everyday objects.
